Study advice from Lofty Fourie

Some advice before you start your course, which I am very excited you chose.

Studying part time and on your own is not as easy as you would think. Don’t make the mistake of just diving into the course without mental preparation. There is no timetable. You should create one. This is the first of many “essential habits” that you will need to create to transform you into a successful project manager.

If there is one aspect of Project Management which I cannot emphasise enough, it is Critical Thinking. Whatever you read or listen to in this course, do it with all your attention and focus. Treat this course as you would a new project. Listen to the initial briefing totally focused. Read, listen and look at all material totally focused.

In due course you will see that these two points of advice will be invaluable to you as a project manager.
